Custom Sized Laser + Layer
This listing is for a custom Laser+Layer piece. If you have a frame needing filled, or a specific shape or size in mind please do contact us. We will provide a quote calculated similar to those generated for standard sizes - it won't be extortionate so you may as well enquire!
Your artwork is provided unframed as standard, giving you the freedom to choose a frame that suits your style, décor, and budget. The finished piece slots easily into the frames once the glass is removed. If you’d prefer a ready‑to‑display option, we can source a frame or get one fitted for you at an additional cost.
Colour & Material Selection
Depending on the size requested, some of the wood options for backing may not be available however we will always be able to make with acrylic backing. The top layer can be made from wood or acrylic base. This is different from other sizes where we can offer the wooden backing.
Wood components are secured using strong, double‑sided adhesive tape.
Acrylic-on-acrylic layers are attached using a combination of high‑bond tape and acrylic adhesive for a clean, seamless
Please note due to cost we do not routinely include the mirror acrylics in the design options for the backing material, but can produce the layered art design in mirror acrylic. If mirror acrylic is desired for backing please contact us for amended quote.

Depth & Framing
Supplied unframed unless otherwise requested
The backing piece is designed at 2–3 mm thickness to fit comfortably inside most standard frames
the layered design has a total depth of 4-6mm depending on the material combinations (2-3mm for backing plus 2-3mm for top design layer). This creates a beautifully dimension piece that still fits neatly into your chosen frame.
Your artwork & Documentation
We can work from all types of documents to create your personalised image.
Simple shapes—such as hand‑drawn hearts—are the quickest for us to digitise, and this is reflected in the pricing.If you are creating a drawing or writing specifically for this artwork, please use:
- a clean white background, and
- a black Sharpie‑style pen for the clearest results
- Make the drawing the same size or smaller than the desired image on the art work. If drawn larger and scaled down the lines will be narrower and it will be less striking.
When artwork or handwriting is taken from an existing document, we spend additional time carefully digitising and refining it to ensure the final piece is as crisp and accurate as possible.
We request that photographs provided are take up close, in clear daylight and free from shadows. Any deviation may restful in the image needing to be retaken to allow us to correctly process it.
Privacy & Image Use
Our privacy policy includes permission for us to share photographs of originals alongside finished products to promote our range on social media, at markets, and on our website.If you would prefer your item not to be shared, you can opt out at any time by emailing us at inscribings@outlook.com.To protect surprises and special moments, we always leave a posting delay to ensure the intended recipient has received their gift before any images are shared.
