Christmas is one of the hardest times to be away from home and your family. At Inscribings, we've created our "Piece of Home" range as a sentimental keepsake for loved ones far away. These thoughtful gifts are small enough to slip into a Christmas card or pack in luggage, ensuring your loved ones can carry a piece of home with them effortlessly. Crafted with creativity and a personal touch, our keepsakes are available in any country in the world!
Location
Please include detail of the country you would like the decoration to represent and the wood will be delicately cut to represent the country's shape. The decoration can be created for any country within the world - the images represent a small number we have made already. If outside of the UK, we will send a proof for your approval before manufacturing.
Additionally, we can add a "Heart" icon to identify a particular place within the country , such as your home area.
Material
3mm Walnut plywood cut within our home studio. As this is a natural product the wood may vary in terms of colour and grain.
There is a small chance of smoke marks on the reverse side of the ornament due to the cutting process. These will not affect the aesthetic appearance of the ornament, and are hard to visualise given the dark stain of walnut wood.
Dimensions
Vary depending on location but we aim to ensure at least one dimension (either length or width) is 10cm.
